Officials from the Baltic countries and Poland have agreed to establish a joint task group, which will submit proposals on measures to fight African swine fever (ASF) to the European Commission (EC).

“Today, we have decided to establish an extra task group that will work out joint proposals, which we’d like to submit to the Commission, and joint measures, which we should implement,” Agriculture Minister Virginija Baltraitienė said at a news conference on Wednesday.
