The flower has become an unofficial symbol of the country, which is defending against Russia’s military aggression.
The event was attended by Arūnas Bubnys, director general of the Genocide and Resistance Research Centre of Lithuania (LGGRTC), MP Arvydas Pocius, chairman of the Seimas Committee on National Security and Defence, and Laurynas Kasčiūnas, minister of national defence.
A painting exhibition entitled War Diary by Ukrainian artist Yury Grigarovich was presented at the event, too.
