Industrial production totalled EUR 6bn in January-February

In February 2023, industrial production totalled EUR 2.9 billion at current prices and, compared to January, seasonally and calendar adjusted, increased by 0.8 percent at constant prices (unadjusted – decreased by 5.1 percent), reports the State Data Agency.

Over the month, seasonally and calendar adjusted, an increase in production was observed for manufacture of rubber and plastic products – 25.3 percent (unadjusted – 27.7 percent), other transport equipment – 13.3 percent (unadjusted – 8.5 percent), motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers – 11.5 percent (unadjusted – 0.1 percent), chemicals and chemical products – 11.1 percent (unadjusted – 5.4 percent).
