The Office of Equal Opportunities Ombudsman, National Equality and Diversity Forum, the Committee on Human Rights of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and the European Information Office of the Seimas organize the Human Rights Conference on "Equal Opportunities Policy in Europe and in Lithuania: Current Challenges and Future Perspectives", the European Information Office of the Seimas reports.

The conference will take place on 20 April in the Constitution Hall of the Seimas in Vilnius.

The conference will address the following issues: fundamental rights in the EU - current challenges and achievements; equality and non-discrimination mainstreaming at the national level; monitoring and evaluating instances of discrimination in Lithuania; promoting equality and non-discrimination through human rights networks.
