A man was arrested after police found two kilograms of cocaine in his car during a check in Vilnius on Monday.

The man's Ford Focus was pulled over in the capital's Saltoniškių Street in the morning during a special police operation, the Vilnius County Police said.

Police suspect that the drugs were smuggled to Lithuania from the Netherlands.

The wholesale value of the cocaine seized is estimated at around 80,000 euros.
