The California-based producer has connections with the country: his wife is from Lithuania and he also has relatives and friends here.

Traub says he admires Lithuania's basketball and cultural environment.

"Lithuania has not only excellent traditions, it has a great future ahead. I like the rich culture here. Less attention to sports, entertainment, television. Culture here means opera, theatre, fine arts," Traub is quoted by LRT.lt.

Traub is best known for producing "Jobs", starring Ashton Kutcher as the founder of Apple Steve Jobs.

Traub says he met the late entrepreneur while working in Silicon Valley, California.
