Seven Ukrainian children from the war-ridden areas of Luhansk and Donetsk accompanied by a teacher should come to Lithuania later in February to finish the academic year here, the Lithuanian government said in the cover letter of a resolution.

Eight Ukrainian students and a teacher are currently attending the Vilnius Lithuanians' House school.

Under the draft resolution proposed by the Education and Science Ministry, an additional sum of 80,000 euros should be earmarked from the government reserve fund for the accommodation and teaching of the Ukrainians. The government already granted about 100,000 euros for the purpose last October.
