The book of condolences is open to the public to sign in the embassy's building in Latvių Street, it said on its Twitter account.

All 84 passengers and eight crew members were killed early on Sunday when the Tu-154 military aircraft crashed into the Black Sea shortly after taking off from Sochi.

The passengers included more than 60 members of the world-famous Russian military choir, the Alexandrov Ensemble, who were on their way to an airbase in Syria to give a performance to Russian troops.
