Residents of western Lithuanian regions are being warned about strong winds late on Tuesday.

The Fire and Rescue Department says wind gust of up to 25m/s are expected in the country's western areas during the upcoming night.

Firefighters are asking residents to be careful and remember of the danger of standing under tall trees and parking their cars under them. People are also urged not to stand under power lines and advertising billboards as they might fall.
