From high up above, this forest lake in Lithuania looks like a steaming geyser or cup of tea.

Situations like these can arise when warm, moist air moves over a cold body of water like a lake. The photo of the foggy lake was captured early in the morning during a 6km-high hot air balloon flight over Lithuania. At that altitude, the passengers, who included Lithuanian commentator and food critic Andrius Užkalnis, had to wear oxygen masks so they wouldn't lose consciousness.
