Names of the Holocaust victims will be read out in the Lithuanian parliament on Monday to mark the National Memorial Day for the Genocide of Lithuanian Jews and in support of a civic initiative, Names.

Under this initiative, readings of the names of killed Jews are read out at various places on Sep. 18-24.

Over 90 percent of the Jewish population of over 200,000 were killed in Lithuania during WWII.
