The call for applications was published on Tuesday in two Lithuanian newspapers and four foreign publications, Arunas Malinovskis, spokesman for the ministry, told BNS.

The National Opera and Ballet Theater is currently headed by CFO Sigitas Žutautas on temporary basis. He replaced long-standing CEO Gintautas Kėvišas in June after he was sacked over violations of public and private interests, however, turned to court over what he said was unfair dismissal.
