Students rolled a giant 220 kg Easter Egg that was almost 5.6 metres high and 13.5 metres wide through Laisvės alėja in Kaunas on Monday.

The Easter egg rolling was accompanied by folk dances and songs. The event organizers, Kaunas high school students are going to apply to the agency Factum for a record for the biggest Easter egg.

The idea to make a record Easter egg came from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) students, and they did most of the production work. However, the event was presented as a project of all 12 Kaunas based high schools.
