Two leading business law firms – Derling in Estonia and Primus, Attorneys at Law, in Lithuania and Latvia - are establishing a new pan-Baltic alliance. From 27 September 2018 the new alliance will operate as DERLING PRIMUS in Estonia and PRIMUS DERLING in Latvia and Lithuania with highly capable team of over 80 lawyers and assistants across 4 offices in all three Baltic countries, a press release from the alliance states.

The alliance will bring together two law firms widely recognised in the Baltics for their strategic thinking, down-to-earth solutions and highly professional approach to client service. International legal directories The Legal 500, IFLR1000 and Chambers & Partners highly recognize both firms and their experts in the fields of Corporate and M&A, Competition, Dispute Resolution, Banking and Finance, Real Estate, Intellectual Property and Tax.

"The main goal of this move is to improve legal services for our clients and create more added value by providing professional legal services in all three Baltic countries. Derling is the best choice in Estonia," said Robert Juodka, Managing Partner at PRIMUS DERLING in Lithuania.

According to Kristine Gaigule-Šāvēja, Partner at PRIMUS DERLING in Latvia, both Primus' and Derling's clients will benefit from the combined legal expertise as the clients will have access to the highly professional legal services in all three Baltic countries which is important for businesses with international reach. "The new alliance will be of particular interest to our clients in such areas as M&A transactions, cross-border disputes, complex financing, real estate projects and regulatory issues in the Baltic countries," she said.
