The Bank of Lithuania warns that such messages about Swedbank operations are false and are an attempt to scam people of their money.

The Bank of Lithuania will report the scamming efforts.

"We recommend to remain wary, not trust texts from unknown individuals and if suspicion arises, to contact your bank and law enforcement institutions through the number 112," a Facebook post by the Bank of Lithuania states.
