The Speaker of Ukraine's Supreme Rada, Oleksandr Turchynov, is expect at the meeting of Baltic and Nordic parliamentary leaders in Lithuania's seaside resort of Palanga in the second half of August.

"Turchynov confirmed his participation a few weeks ago, however, his participation will depend on the situation in Ukraine," Mantvydas Bekešius, the head of the secretariat of Lithuanian Parliamentary Speaker Loreta Graužinienė, told BNS.

The meeting of Nordic and Baltic parliamentary leaders will take place in Lithuania on 18–20 August.
