The flights cancelled include one Monday’s flight from Frankfurt to Vilnius, four flights between those cities on Tuesday and another flight on Wednesday, the Airport of Vilnius said in a press release.

The pilots’ union on Monday extended its strike at Lufthansa over pensions.

As a result, Lufthansa has been forced to cancel 1,450 flights globally.
