Universal Payment Transfer, a Turkish-capital fintech company, has established a company in Lithuania, according to the Lithuanian Center of Registers.

UPT Lithuania was established on Dec 4 and is led by Turkish citizen Yasemin Mirasyedi and its authorized capital stand at 600,000 euros.

The UPT website states that the company's platform allows clients to send payments to and receive them from abroad.

Universal Payment Transfer, a subsidiary of Turkey's largest investment bank Aktif Bank, is the sole shareholder of UPT Lithuania.

Universal Payment Transfer launched its activity in 2010 and has been operating under the existing name since 2012.
