On 20 October, the Embassy of Lithuania in the United Kingdom and Oxford Intelligence organized a business networking event in London, the embassy reports.

The keynote speaker, David Parker, commercial director of Oxford Intelligence, gave a presentation on the investment climate in Lithuania and facilitated a session on current trends in inward investment. The event was followed by a reception with ecological Lithuanian food.

"A lot of British companies have already invested in Lithuania over the last few years including Barclays and GlaxoSmithKline. We encourage other UK companies to follow the pattern," Lithuanian Ambassador Asta Skaisgirytė said.
