Last year, Lithuanians concluded about 10% more life insurance deals than the year before. Experts say the spike was down to growing popularity of investment insurance.

The Bank of Lithuania notes that Lithuanians spend about twice more on insuring their possessions than their life, unlike in most Western nations where life insurance is higher up the priority list.
