Klaipėdos Nafta will cooperate with Colombia's Sociedad Portuaria El Cayao S.A. E.S.P. (SPEC). This company is implementing a LNG terminal's project in Cartagena's port. Consultation sessions will be held both in Klaipėda and in Colombia, while theoretical and practical training will be organised at the Lithuanian LNG terminal in Klaipėda.

Contract period is until the end of the Cartagena project implementation, i.e., by late 2016.

"The expertise of our specialists in implementation of strategic energy projects is a great asset, which is more and more often valued by foreigners. Klaipėdos Nafta's agreement is an important step in the right direction. I believe that it is not too daring to speak about opening a regional energy security centre of excellence in Lithuania," Lithuanian Energy Minister Rokas Masiulis said.
