Liudas Dapkus, deputy editor-in-chief at the daily Lietuvos Rytas and editor-in-chief at the Lrytas.lt news website, said on October 5 that he is leaving Lietuvos Rytas.

Dapkus has worked interruptedly at Lietuvos Rytas since 1991.
