Arvydas Arnašius, acting head of Invest Lithuania, will step in as permanent head of the government’s foreign investment promotion agency after winning a respective competition organized by the Economy Ministry.

The winner of the competition was announced on Friday, Vaiva Gogelienė, an adviser to the economy minister, told BNS.

Arnašius, who has degrees in economics, finance and marketing, has a record of managing work at Western Union, Johnson & Johnson and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Milda Dargužaitė resigned as head of Invest Lithuania in late March, following two years in the post.
