0.4 pct monthly inflation estimated for December

Lithuania's estimated monthly inflation rate, as measured by the EU Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), for December stands at 0.4 percent, the country's statistics office, Statistics Lithuania, said on Monday.

The EU-harmonized annual rate is estimated to stand at 2.7 percent.

Inflation was close to zero in Lithuania in November, and the annual EU-harmonized rate was 1.7 percent.
