Conservatives won't work with vote buyers, dishonest parties

The conservative Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats would not join a coalition with dishonest parties, the conservatives' leader Gabrielius Landsbergis said after casting his ballot in Vilnius on Sunday morning.

Serious talks on the ruling coalition may start after the first round of voting, says Saulius Skvernelis, the leader of the Lithuanian Peasant and Green Union's candidate list, adding that the union was talking to all potential partners.
With a ban on election campaigning in force, the head of the Lithuanian Central Electoral Commission has called on social network users not to encourage others to vote for any specific politician, not to share any campaign material and even not to press the Like button.
