Merger of Lithuania's electricity grid operator and gas company goes ahead

Lithuanian electricity grid operator LESTO is merging with the gas company Lietuvos Dujos. The purpose of the merger is to optimise the operations, and reduce costs so that consumers can pay less for gas and electricity, according to Energy Minister Rokas Masiulis.
