Klaipėda Port stands against EC's requirements

The European Commission has requested that Klaipėda Port terminate the privilege to lease land to companies without a tendering procedure if a company has purchased buildings or other structural objects. The daily Verslo Žinios reports that companies operating in the port fear that their investments will remain unsafeguarded if such a requirement is implemented.
