Monday, August 4, 2014
Through 1 August to 1 September, an exhibition dedicated to mass rallies of the Sąjūdis, a reform movement of the 1980s that led to Lithuania's secession from the USSR, will be open in the gallery of the Lithuanian Parliament.
“He is an artist of the great style, and the indication of the great style is that it is not seen," wrote Arvydas Šliogeris in a statement about photographer Antanas Sutkus' new virtual exhibition "Antanas Sutkus. Without A Name." Organised by the Art Department of The Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania, the exhibit marks the photographer's 75th birthday.
