The European Union will consider applying restricting measures in the area of defence against Russia, Lithuania's Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius said on Tuesday during the meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels.
The proposal by UK Prime Minister Theresa May for European Union (EU) citizens present in the country should ease tensions among the Lithuanians living in great Britain, says Daiva Asanavičiūtė, the leader of the local Lithuanian community.
The European Union (EU) should consolidate in the field of defense and countries of the euro area should also deepen their cooperation, Spain's Foreign Minister Alfonso Dastis said in Vilnius on Wednesday.
